2023 will also be another year in which car manufacturers will push forward one new electric car after another. Today’s electric newcomer is a special one. This is the Aion Hyper GT, according to its creators the most aerodynamic electric passenger car in the world.

Airon is one of the many brands of the Chinese GAC Group. Aion focuses entirely on selling electric cars and with this Hyper GT, the manufacturer has presented its latest EV weapon. In the deluge of new electric cars it is difficult to notice these days, so Aion has made the Hyper GT something special.

At first glance, the Aion Hyper GT is ‘just’ a new electric sedan, but a very slick one. According to Aion, it has a cW value of 0.19, making it the most aerodynamic production car ever. It cuts through the air almost as efficiently as the Mercedes-Benz Vision EQXX, but that’s a concept car. The Mercedes-Benz EQS – currently the most aerodynamic production model – has a cW value of 0.20.

More details? Sure! Just look at the front doors. They do not open normally. No, Aion gives the Hyper GT butterfly doors like the Lamborghini Aventador. The Aion Hyper GT has a 340 hp and 430 Nm strong powertrain, good for a 0-100 sprint in about 4 seconds. In China, the Aion Hyper GT will compete against the Tesla Model S and Xpeng P7. The Hyper GT can travel about 480 kilometers on a full battery, although little else is known about the car.
