Ronalds are just part of it!
The Alfa Romeo 33 was quite sporty from the factory, even with an extremely modest engine. Take this 1.3 with carburetor, which already produces 86 hp and therefore accelerates as quickly as a Volkswagen Golf II GTI 8V of that time. The black bumpers make this 33 for sale sympathetic and those Ronal wheels are very nice. Ronals and 33s go together as BBSs and Golfjes II.
Of course you also had the Alfa 33 with 1.7 and 1.7 16V. 1.4’s and 1.5 were also present. With injection they could meet the emission requirements of that time. We are talking about the early nineties, the last version of the 33 was presented in 1990. However, the 1.3 with carburetor remained available in various markets, without a catalytic converter, and the boxer engine thus produced a handsome 86 hp. A high power for a 1.3 eight-valve, for a Volkswagen Golf 2 with that number of horsepower you had to look for a 1.8 90 hp. The basic GTI had 107 hp (with catalytic converter). The 1.3 33 was just as fast in the sprint as the tamest GTI and created a lot more drama with its nicely raspy boxer engine.
Alfa Romeo 33 and Ronal, they go very well together!
It is therefore possible that this 33 1.3 is mounted on beautiful Ronal alloy wheels. He makes that appearance
really true. The slightly lowered 33 does have some glimmers on board, such as the sports steering wheel and the different gear knob. Typical Alfa of that time is the somewhat reclining position of the steering wheel. Turning it takes some effort, especially when parking, because there is no power steering. It does not cost to open the window because as a driver you can do that by pressing a button. The interior is also neat, with good fabric upholstery.
The 33, which costs 5,450 euros, has 145,000 kilometers on the clock and thanks to its weight of only 910 kilos, it is a cheap car to drive that is well on its way to classic status.
