Alfa Romeo Giulia GTA and GTAm have Dutch price

The Alfa Romeo Giulia was unveiled last year as extreme GTA and even more extreme GTAm. Alfa Romeo now knows exactly what to cost in the Netherlands. Sit down for a while.

About a year ago we could already report what the expected prices were for the most extreme versions of the Giulia. According to Alfa Romeo, the Giulia GTA (the green one in the photos) would cost roughly € 230,000, the GTAm (the red one) went a long way with an estimated Dutch price of € 236,000. Alfa Romeo then emphasized to us that it was still a target price and that a final price would follow at a later date. It took a while, but now the time has come. The Giulia GTA costs at least € 222,112, the Giulia GTAm € 226,888. Quite a bit less than initially expected, but it remains a lot of money. A major culprit is of course the bpm, which in both cases amounts to no less than € 42,542.

You do get a lot of driving pleasure in return. The GTA and GTAm are based on the already quite heavy Giulia Q, but the 2.9 biturbo V6 is now good for 540 hp (+30 hp). They are also lighter. The GTA is already 100 kilos lighter than the Q thanks to, among other things, a carbon fiber bonnet, roof, front bumper, front and rear fenders. The GTAm also lacks the rear seat, but it does have a thick carbon fiber rear spoiler. A sprint to 100 km / h is done in just 3.6 seconds thanks to all the adjustments. An exhaust system from Akrapovič makes the V6 even more raucous.

Aerodynamic smarts from Sauber and major adjustments to the chassis ensure that things also have to go a lot better through the bend than is the case with the Q. In doing so, Alfa Romeo F1 drivers Kimi Räikkönen and Antonio Giovinazzi also helped by providing their feedback to the engineers who worked on the special Giulias. In the interior you are finally welcomed in a sporty way by an abundance of Alcantara upholstery, sports seats and GTA or GTAm logos. All in all, a lot to make your mouth water, now just collect as much as 2 tons.
