The 3 was ahead of me

Almost every new model that BMW has presented in the past period no longer has a traditional covered instrument panel. The BMW 4 series still does, but now also goes to the fused curved screens.
BMW announces a series of relatively minor changes for various models. These range from new exterior colors and interior options for the BMW 7 Series to new optional headlamps with Swarovski crystals for the X7. You will also be able to manually activate the preheating function for the battery in the electric BMW iX and Driver Assistant, just like Trailer Assistant, will soon be standard on the electric SUV. Bigger news concerns the 4 Series. That model series will soon have a completely different interior.
The BMW 4 Series Coupé, 4 Series Convertible and 4 Series Gran Coupé are now several years old and thus came on the market before BMW widely rolled out its Operating System 8 infotainment system with two visually fused and curved screens . The 4-series currently still has a traditional dashboard with a covered instrument panel, but that will change this spring. All models of the 4 series will then receive a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel and a curved infotainment screen with a diagonal of 14.9 inches. The electric BMW i4 already had this system.
By the way, BMW Operating System 8 is no longer BMW’s newest infotainment system. In the United Kingdom, BMW is already installing Operating System 9 in ‘certain versions’ in the second quarter of this year. So just a pilot.
