After the S10, the Chevrolet Trailblazer related to that pick-up also goes under the knife. That seems a bit early, but it is not the Trailblazer as it was presented last year.
Chevrolet introduced the new Trailblazer to the world at the same time as the new Tracker in China last year. That crossover is still brand new, but that applies to a lesser extent to the Trailblazer that Chevrolet sells in, among others, South America. That Trailblazer is basically the SUV version of the S10 pickup sold there. That S10 has just been updated and now the new Trailblazer has also been introduced to the world.
Pre-facelift Chevrolet Trailblazer
The Trailblazer shares its engineering base with the S10, a pickup that’s shod on Isuzu last, just like its optically aberrant North American Colorado brother. It should come as no surprise that the Trailblazer is also fitted with the new S10 face. The Trailblazer produced in Brazil also has the new front, where a new bumper and a slightly larger grille – complete with the brand name written in it – are decisive for the face. As was the case with the S10, the five-meter SUV benefits from the arrival of a new infotainment system. On the engine list is a 2.5 Flex machine that likes both petrol and ethanol. Diesel is possible with a 2.8 turbo diesel.
Just like the updated S10, this Trailblazer does not come to the Netherlands. The predecessor of this Trailblazer was on the Dutch price list.
