Apple expectations for autumn 2026: 15 new products on the way

iPhone 18 Pro (Max), iPhone Ultra, Apple Watch models, Macs, Smart Home Hub and more

Apple seems to have a busy autumn ahead of it. According to new rumors, at least 15 product innovations are planned for the second half of this year, including new iPhones, Apple Watch models, Macs, iPads and possibly also a completely new smart home hub.

In addition to the annual iPhone and Apple Watch updates in September, Apple is also said to be working on a foldable iPhone Ultra, a redesigned MacBook with OLED screen and long-awaited updates for the Apple TV, HomePod and HomePod mini, among others.

Apple Expectations Fall 2026

Apple may have a busy launch in the fall of 2026 with perhaps 15 new products. The usual presentation of the iPhone and Apple Watch is the highlight in September. The iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max will have a faster A-series chip, its own Apple modem (C2), better cameras and possibly a smaller Dynamic Island. The first foldable iPhone Ultra could also appear. There are also new Apple Watch models (Series 12 and Ultra 4), a new iPad 12, an iPad mini with OLED and a new iPad Air, in addition to updates for Mac with new chips.

In addition to the fall schedule, Apple also focuses strongly on smart home and AI. There may be a new smart home hub with a 6–7 inch display, an iPhone chip, FaceTime and an improved Siri. In addition, a new HomePod mini, a new Apple TV 4K and possibly smart security products such as a camera are expected. It’s clear that AI is important: there’s an upgrade to Siri, deeper integration of Apple Intelligence in iOS and macOS, and more context-aware features for iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

Chip shortage can cause problems

What we can expect from these products depends on the production chain; there are still problems with producing enough chips. In addition, some products have been on the waiting list for a long time and have recently been postponed. This was caused by persistent problems with the updated Siri in combination with Apple Intelligence. Apple has been working hard over the past two years on a more personal version of Siri, which should be available together with the software updates in version 27.

These 15 Apple products are expected

  • iPhone 18 Pro: A20 Pro chip, smaller Dynamic Island, simplified camera controller, dark red color, variable aperture control for at least one camera, and a C2 modem with support for 5G via satellite
  • iPhone 18 Pro Max: Same features as the iPhone 18 Pro
  • iPhone Ultra: A foldable iPhone with a 7.7-inch inner screen and 5.3-inch outer screen, two cameras on the back, one front camera and Touch ID in the on/off button instead of Face ID.
  • Apple Watch Series 12: A faster S11 chip or newer, possible improved or additional health sensors.
  • Apple Watch Ultra 4: Equipped with a faster chip, with possible design changes and additional health sensors
  • iPad 12: Switch from A16 to A18 or A19 chip, with support for Apple Intelligence.
  • iPad mini: Possibly an A19 Pro or A20 Pro chip, an OLED screen, modified audio system and a more water-resistant design.
  • MacStudio: Renewal of M4 Max and M3 Ultra to M5 Max and M5 Ultra chips.
  • Mac mini: Switch from M4 and M4 Pro to M5 and M5 Pro chips.
  • iMac: An update of the M4 chip to M5, possibly with new color variants.
  • MacBook Ultra: A major MacBook Pro redesign with M6 Pro and M6 Max, OLED screen, touchscreen, Dynamic Island and a thinner housing.

  • AppleTV: A17 Pro chip, support for the updated Siri and the N1 chip with WiFi 7.
  • HomePod mini: S9 chip or newer, N1 chip with WiFi 7, better sound quality, second generation Ultra Wideband and possibly new colors.
  • HomePod: A new, large HomePod with a new processor, N1 chip with WiFi 7 and that works with the new Siri.
  • HomeHub: A completely new smart home hub with a 6 to 7 inch screen, A18 chip, FaceTime and the new Siri, suitable for placement on the table or on the wall.

Security camera, doorbell and AirPods Ultra

Apple would also consider accessories around the smart home hub, such as a security camera or sensor and even a Face ID doorbell. In addition, there are rumors about AirPods Ultra with cameras for Visual Intelligence, although it is still unclear whether they will appear this year or later.
