Apple to launch more new products than ever in the fall of 2022

Are you ready for it? In the fall of 2022, Apple will launch more new products than ever. That’s what Gurman says in his most recent newsletter.

Apple in 2022: more new products than ever

It’s going to be a great year for Apple enthusiasts, and the Cupertino company is set to launch more products than ever in the fall of 2022, Mark Gurman said in his most recent newsletter. He explains that Apple plans to release four new iPhones this year (iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Max, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max).

In addition, Apple will also update the entry-level MacBook Pro, an iMac with a larger screen, a new Mac Pro, a new design for the MacBook Air, the AirPods Pro 2, three new Apple Watches (Apple Watch Series 8, SE and an extra rugged version), a new iPad and new models of the iPad Pro.

According to Gurman, most of these products come out in the fall. He does say, however, that there’s a chance we’ll see the iMac sooner. Apple is also planning an event for Spring 2022 where we can expect to see an iPhone SE 2022 with 5G and a new iPad Air with an A15 chip. Incidentally, Apple has registered a total of nine new iPads and three new iPhones, so it’s very possible that we’ll see more than one new iPad during the spring event.

In addition, Apple can also use the spring event to equip another Mac with an M1 Pro chip. This would be an upgrade for a high-end iMac or a Mac Mini, for example. However, most updates to the Mac lineup won’t happen before the fall.

Gurman speculates further and thinks that the new iPad Pro will get an M2 chip and wireless charging. But we probably won’t see this new iPad Pro until the fall event.

In addition, Apple also planned to launch the VR/AR headset in 2022, but according to the latest rumors, VR/AR glasses have been postponed to 2023. Apple seems to run into several problems during the development of the headset. This would make the glasses too hot. In addition, there are complications with the cameras and the software.

Apple events in 2022

Last year, the spring event was held in April where Apple showed different products, so it seems likely that the event in 2022 will also take place in this month. This is followed by the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in June, where iOS 16 and MacOS 13 will make their appearance. With so many new products in the pipeline, Apple is likely to hold two events in the fall.
