During this lawsuit, the Apple Watch was used to indicate that Apple has a monopoly position. It was said that the Apple Watch will only work with an iPhone. And that this makes it a lot more expensive for consumers to switch to another smartphone.

In a response during this lawsuit, Apple made a striking statement. Apple has tried to bring the Apple Watch to Android. The current Apple Watch would then have received support for Google’s smartphones.
