Audi A4 40 TFSI now also with quattro

Audi is expanding the A4 price list with a new version. The A4 40 TFSI is also available with a quattro drive immediately.

Anyone who has a four-wheel drive Audi A4 without Allroad trim on their shortlist has until now had to rely directly on only a limited number of engine versions. In addition to the fierce RS4 Avant and the S4 Limousine and S4 Avant, which are also sporty-looking, the 265 hp 45 TFSI was the only A4 version that was available with quattro designation. That changes with the arrival of the 40 TFSI quattro.

The 40 TFSI quattro is in fact nothing more than a variant of the already existing 40 TFSI equipped with Audi’s quattro technology. The new A4 40 TFSI quattro therefore has the well-known 204 hp and 320 Nm strong 2.0 TFSI under the hood, a machine that, just like engines such as the 35 TFSI, 45 TFSI and the 35 and 40 TDI, is always linked to an S tronic. automatic with seven gears.

Specifications

The Audi A4 Limousine sprints as a 40 TFSI quattro to a speed of 100 km / h in 6.7 seconds. The A4 Avant needs 6.9 seconds for the same sprint. This means that the four-wheel drive versions of the 40 TFSI reach 100 km / h 0.4 seconds earlier than the front-wheel drive versions. The top speed of all 40 TFSI variants is 210 km / h, regardless of body shape. The A4 Limousine 40 TFSI quattro (5.8-6.2 l / 100 km) and A4 Avant 40 TFSI quattro (5.9-6.3 l / 100 km) have a slightly higher (0.2-0, 3 l / 100 km) consumption than the front-wheel drive 40 TFSI flavors.

The A4 Limousine 40 TFSI quattro has a starting price of € 48,220. For the A4 Avant 40 TFSI quattro you have to pay at least € 50,520. In both cases it concerns the Pro Line version. The surcharge for the quattro drive is therefore € 2,790. You can order immediately.
