With one paw almost in the air
Audi is going way off track with the new Q3. However, this has little to do with the design, positioning or technology of the model and more to do with a problem that the tires of a packed test sample had on snow-covered and therefore very slippery roads.
Volkswagen has a new Tiguan, Cupra comes with the related Terramar and of course Audi gets a new Q3. The new Audi Q3 will be the very last generation of the model that is only supplied with combustion engines. We have already shown you the Audi Q3 in a test suit and we have also instructed our digital drawing master to make a virtual impression of the model. The next generation Audi Q3 can be seen again on a set of new spy plates, although there is little new to see.
Why have we reserved some server space for the records? Well: you see an Audi Q3 that could not handle the combination of the speed, a bend and an apparently slippery surface and slid straight out of the bend. The result? An Audi Q3 that has sunk considerably into the snow-filled verge. We dare to doubt whether this copy had four-wheel drive. In addition to front-wheel drive, the Audi Q3 will of course also be available with four driven wheels. Count on mild-hybrid variants, but also plug-in versions with an electric range of up to about 100 kilometers. There will probably also be a new RS Q3, possibly even with a 2.5 five-cylinder. After 2026, Audi will no longer introduce new models with combustion engines in Europe, so the next Q3 appears to be the last to be traditionally powered.
