The electric Audi E-tron GT was recently provided with Dutch price tags and today it is the absolute top version that gets a place on the price list. Delivery of the RS E-tron GT will start in May.
The Audi E-tron GT is the first ‘low’ E-tron, an electric one gran turismo which as a basic version with 476 and short-term 530 hp is already a pretty potent car. The fierce RS E-tron GT was then not long in coming. That first fully electric RS model from Audi is logically a lot more expensive than the regular E-tron GT, which costs at least € 104,895, but a lot cheaper than the RS6 Avant and RS7 Sportback.
The price of the Audi RS E-tron GT is set at € 146,295. For that money you get two electric motors that deliver 598 hp and 830 Nm, but thanks to a boost function are temporarily able to distribute no less than 646 electrically generated horsepower over the wheels. It thunders to 100 km / h in 3.3 counts. Its top speed is 250 km / h. The RS7 Sportback, which is comparable in size, is considerably more expensive with a price of € 191,305, and that also applies to the RS6 Avant, which costs € 188,795. The two owe those higher prices to the 600 hp and 800 Nm strong 4.0 V8, a machine equipped with two turbos that is heavily burdened by the high CO2 emissions in our country.
Audi puts the RS E-tron GT on specific 20-inch light metal behind which hides ceramic brakes. The RS version further benefits from such things as an electronically controlled differential lock, three-chamber air suspension and adaptive dampers. In keeping with RS tradition, things like the grille, the side mirror caps and various elements in the bumpers are finished in black. Matrix LED viewers are standard, the same goes for things like Audi’s Virtual Cockpit, a reversing camera, three-zone separate climate control, auxiliary heating and ventilation, a sports steering wheel, electrically adjustable sports seats, an extensive audio system and a package that includes extensive mood lighting. Audi supplies 21-inch wheels, four-wheel steering and Laser Light headlights as options. Striking: the RS E-tron GT is no wider than the regular model.
The Audi RS E-tron GT can be ordered immediately. The first copies will be delivered in May.
