Sister model of electric Macan
Audi says it will introduce more than twenty completely new models up to and including 2025. Ten of them are electric and one of them is the Audi Q6 e-tron. Audi is now releasing new photos of that car.
Audi throws photos into the world on which the Q6 e-tron can be seen. The Audi Q6 e-tron is a fully electric SUV and will in fact be a sister model of the electric Macan that Porsche is working on. Just like the Macan, the Audi Q6 e-tron will be on the Premium Platform Electric (PPE).
As an SUV from Audi, the Q6 e-tron cannot escape a Sportback variant. What can you expect technically from the Audi Q6 e-tron and Q6 e-tron Sportback? Thanks to the 800V architecture that the PPE platform offers, you can at least expect a relatively high charging capacity. Porsche has already indicated that its technical sister model will have a higher payload than the Taycan. The maximum charging capacity of the Taycan is 270 kW. You can of course also count on various engine versions, including possibly even a more than 600 hp RS version. More later this year!
Incidentally, there is already an SUV from Audi called Q6 in China. That SUV is only available with combustion engines and has nothing to do with the Q6 e-tron.
