Important: Since you also use the peel for banana water, you need an organically grown banana for the recipe. Conventional bananas are often included polluted with toxic pesticides. Pay attention to cinnamon also that it comes from fair trade in order to support good cultivation and working conditions.
Banana water: preparation
Simple banana water
- Preparation: about 5 minutes
- Rest time: about 10 minutes
- Quantity: 0.5 liters

Bring the water to a boil.

In the meantime, wash the banana thoroughly and then cut it and its peel into slices.

Pour boiling water over the banana pieces and optionally add a pinch of cinnamon.

Let the banana water steep for ten minutes.

Strain the banana water and drink it while it is still warm.
Use banana water correctly
- Drink at least one cup of warm banana water about an hour or two before going to bed.

The main reason that banana water can really help you fall asleep is due to these three ingredients:
- potassium
- magnesium
- Tryptophan
Especially magnesium helps doing that Relax muscles. The amino acid Tryptophan is in the brain in Melatonin and Serotonin transformed.
