Bentley Continental GT and Flying Spur subtly renewed

Bentley is making a number of changes for different versions of its Continental GT and Flying Spur. These ensure that the different trim levels of the two now have more similarities. Among other things, a new color, higher quality floor mats – really – and a new grille make it a very subtle refresher round.

The Bentley Continental GT and Flying Spur came on the market in 2018 and 2019 respectively. Therefore, the two can count on a facelift in the not too distant future. But before that happens, Bentley seizes its opportunity to make the line-up of the two models a bit clearer. At least; Nothing changes in the line-up, but the different versions within it will soon be easier to distinguish.

Both cars can be ordered as a more luxurious ‘Azure’, or as a sportier ‘S’ or even ‘Speed’. For example, the Continental GT Azure and Flying Spur Azure show more similarities than before, just like the S and Speed. For example, you can now order dark gray aluminum exterior elements for both if you put together a Speed.

Furthermore, the Continental GT and Flying Spur as Azure will always have a grille with vertical bars, as the Bentley Bentayga Azure already had. In addition, the 22-inch diamond cut wheels of the Flying Spur Azure are now standard on the Continental GT of the same name.

New floor mats!

Furthermore, Bentley introduces the new exterior color ‘topaz blue’ and the brand found a new way to process aluminum interior panels, which – at extra cost – have a darker color and diamond-shaped finish. Finally, Bentley took a closer look at its famous floor mats. The long-pleated woolen mats (which are standard in the Azure versions) now consist of 100 percent wool and are dyed in an ‘improved’ way. The less luxurious floor mats that you get as standard in an S or Speed now consist entirely of recycled materials.
