Bluetooth problems iPhone 15: this is what’s going on
More and more complaints from iPhone 15 owners about Bluetooth appear on the Apple Support Community website. These issues have been around since the launch of the iPhone 15 in September 2023.
There is no real solution for the connection problems yet. Some messages state that the issues have been resolved by turning off the WiFi connection. But that solution didn’t work for others. Resetting or restoring the iPhone 15 also did not provide any relief. Some iPhone 15 owners even went so far as to have their smartphone replaced by Apple.
It seems that iPhone 15 owners mainly have problems with older Bluetooth devices. This includes older systems in cars or wireless headphones that have been around for a few years. But it doesn’t seem to be limited to just these old devices. There are also reports of recent AirPods sometimes losing the connection.
The problems with Bluetooth on the iPhone 15 appeared on the Apple Support Community website about a month after the launch of the device. And they never really stopped. Every version of iOS is affected by this, including (at the moment) the most recent: iOS 17.3.1. The problems seem to occur on every version of the iPhone 15. So the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max and iPhone 15 Plus also have these issues.
