BMW launches R 1250 GS Adventure Ultimate Edition

The BMW R 1250 GS Adventure Ultimate Edition is the finalist of one of the most successful BMW Motorrad models to date. After all, the BMW R 1250 GS Adventure has been the best-selling motorcycle in the Netherlands in recent years, together with the R 1250 GS.

Now there is the BMW R 1250 GS Adventure Ultimate Edition with a great range of equipment and accessories. According to BMW, almost all available options and accessories are on this motorcycle. Striking is the special Ultimate Edition badging on the mirror covers, the steering wheel and the aluminum cases that are part of the equipment.

The Ultimate Edition is equipped with saddle heating and an alarm system. Options also include gold-colored cross-spoke wheels, Enduro aluminum engine protection and a tinted wind deflector and windshield (high). A three-piece aluminum suitcase set is also part of the equipment.

Most striking are the special color schemes and Option 719 parts, which, according to the Germans, must have made the BMW R 150 GS Adventure Ultimate Edition a visual highlight.

The motorcycle is primarily available in the Triple Black style with the colors Black storm metallic/Black/Achat gray. The Option 719 style variant Shadow package offers high-quality components made of machined aluminum in black/silver and includes an engine block cover, valve covers, ignition coil cover, oil filler plug and black plastic sliders on the valve covers.

The equipment also includes the Option 719 style variant Shadow II package with brake and clutch levers, footrests, foot brake pedal, gear shift pedal, expansion tank covers and mirrors made of anodized and milled aluminum in black/silver.

The BMW R 1250 GS Adventure Ultimate Edition comes standard with the Touring package including navigation preparation and cruise control, as well as the Comfort package with chrome exhaust bends, designer exhaust, tire pressure control, heated grips and Keyless Ride.

The standard Dynamic package has the Driving Modes Pro function including Dynamic Engine Brake Control. This should increase stability during engine braking and prevent a slipping or bouncing rear wheel when braking hard and downshifting at the same time. The Dynamic package also offers Shift Assistant Pro for shifting without using the clutch lever, while Dynamic ESA automatically adjusts the shock absorption and spring tension to the Road, Dynamic and Enduro riding modes.

Not enough options for you yet? The BMW R 1250 GS Adventure Ultimate Edition also comes standard with the Light package with adaptive cornering lights, striking daytime running lights with Pro headlamp, LED spotlights and multifunctional rear indicators, with the red LED brake and tail light in yellow flashing along with the indicators.

The package also includes front cruise lights with dimmed turn signals, which makes the motorcycle more visible to other road users. Every BMW R 1250 GS has the safety-enhancing systems BMW Integral ABS pro and Hill Start Control Pro as standard.

The BMW R 1250 GS Adventure Ultimate Edition will be in the showroom from February 10, 2024 and has a recommended retail price from € 32,950. The price includes VAT, BPM, a matching Ultimate Edition key ring and a discount of more than € 2,600.
