The German tuner Brabus has something with the Smart ForTwo. Brabus throws itself for the umpteenth time on the small EV. The Smart EQ ForTwo Cabrio is transformed into Brabus 92R, a car with a somewhat endearing Calimero content.
“They are big and I am small”, the Brabus 92R seems to say to Brabus creations such as the Brabus Rocket 900 and the many heavily modified G-classes. The Brabus 92R is a fiercely decorated Smart EQ Fortwo Cabrio, a basically 82 hp and 160 Nm strong electric city car that also gets extra muscle power from Brabus.

However, the power upgrade is quite sparse. The Brabus 92R has an electric motor that delivers 92 hp and 180 Nm in the new Sport + driving mode, making it 10 hp and 20 Nm stronger than the original. In 10.9 counts, Brabus’ little one has a speed of 100 km / h on the clock, 0.7 seconds earlier than a standard one. The top speed is unchanged at 130 km / h. The Brabus R92 squeezes 125 kilometers from its 17.6 kWh battery pack. The original is ten kilometers further.
Smart Fortwo
So a slightly smaller range, but you do get a fiercely developed Smart EQ Fortwo Cabrio in return. The Brabus 92R, limited to 50 pieces, is crammed with thick bumpers, has a diffuser and even gets carbon fiber side mirror caps. Brabus puts the 92R on special light alloy that is 16-inch in size at the front and that has a diameter of 17-inch at the rear. Lying around the alloy high-performancetires from Yokohama. The 92R has coil springs that bring the car up to an inch closer to the tarmac. The interior has also been considerably adjusted. We see bright red leather on the special sports seats, aluminum sports pedals, 92R badges, illuminated door sill plates, a leather-covered handbrake cover and plenty of red accents.
