Skoda Elroq teaser

Summer won’t start for another month, but at Skoda they are already looking forward to autumn. Then the curtain comes off the car we see here: the Skoda Elroq.

Usually car manufacturers only start sending out tease pictures a month or at most two months before the unveiling of a new model, but Skoda is getting there a bit earlier. The Czechs are now sharing a shadowy photo of the nose of the Skoda Elroq, with the immediate announcement that the Elroq will only be presented in its entirety next fall. In any case, it is now clear that the Skoda Elroq will have a slightly different nose than we are used to from the brand. After all, the Elroq belongs to a new generation of EVs, of which the Skoda Epiq recently provided the clearest example.

While the Epiq becomes an electric SUV in the B-segment and therefore the electric equivalent of the Kamiq, the Skoda Elroq is a step higher and therefore on par with the Skoda Karoq. After all, you can see which models are next to each other by looking at the last two letters of the names. The Skoda Elroq will be roughly 4.5 meters long and will soon have to compete against cars such as the Peugeot e-3008 and Volvo EX40. Count on at least 500 km of driving range and battery packs of up to 80 kWh in size. We will get all the answers next fall. So for now we have the teaser photo, photos of the production version that has already been spotted and of course the illustrations that we had made at the end of last year.
