(Even) more info!

Recently, AutoWeek was able to tell you with near certainty all the Dutch prices of the BYD Han. The Dutch importer Louwman has now communicated the same prices. The electric sedan can be ordered immediately.
Louwman is speeding up the process of bringing models from the Chinese Build Your Dreams (BYD) to the Netherlands. The Dutch adventure started with the Atto 3 – a small electric crossover – and soon an electric SUV with seven seats was added: the Tang. BYD also has an electric sedan in its portfolio in the form of the Han. Recently AutoWeek was able to report the Dutch prices of that 5 meter long competitor of cars like the Mercedes-Benz EQE and we can now confirm that they were correct. Louwman now reports that the BYD Han can be ordered and delivered immediately in the Netherlands. We also now have a better picture of the BYD Han as you will soon see it on the road in the Netherlands or perhaps at your doorstep.
In front now the more famous BYD logo.
Just a reminder: the BYD Han has a starting price of €72,490 in the Netherlands. For that amount you immediately drive the Executive Edition. A step higher on the status ladder is the Emerald Edition, which changes hands from €75,990. Regardless of the chosen version, you get a fully electric and almost 5 meters long sedan with two together 517 hp and 700 Nm strong electric motors. If you kick the Han on its tail, you’ll zoom to a speed of 100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds. If you don’t let that kind of sprint action tempt you, you should be able to squeeze up to 521 WLTP kilometers from the 85.4 kWh Blade Battery battery. The top speed of the BYD Han is set at 180 km/h.
With up to 120 kW, the battery pack can be filled with farm-fresh electricity. That means you can charge the pack from 30% to 80% in about 30 minutes. Like a handful of other electric models, the BYD Han also features Vehicle to Load (V2L) technology. In the case of the Han, you can charge electrical devices with a charging capacity of up to 3 kW. Speaking of payload: the luggage space of the 2,325-kilo Han is 410 liters. BYD gives a 5-year (up to 100,000 kilometers) warranty, also on the electric motor. BYD gives an 8-year warranty for the battery pack (up to 160,000 kilometers and up to 70 percent ‘State of Health’).
BYD Han
The new set of photos shows the Han EV as it comes to the Netherlands. So no Chinese logos on the tailgate this time, but simply the model name Han that has been pasted on. Also on the front of the BYD Han is a different logo on the European version, this time just the copy of BYD.
As we wrote earlier, the BYD Han’s equipment is fine. The electric sedan has Brembo brakes, variable dampers, offers four driving modes and has furniture covered in attractive perforated nappa leather and diamond-stitched leather on the door panels. Parts of the dashboard and door panels are covered with black leather and BYD finishes things off with things like wood and aluminum. You can read more about the equipment of the BYD Han here.
