Prices down by up to a few thousand euros

BYD significantly lowers the prices of its electric cars in the Netherlands. Depending on the version, cars such as the BYD Atto 3, Dolphin, Han and Tang are several thousand euros cheaper. However, the entry price of BYD’s most affordable model – the Dolphin – does not drop.
BYD is lowering the prices of all its already available models by several thousand euros, although not every version will benefit from a major price reduction. For example, the BYD Dolphin, BYD’s most affordable and also most compact model, retains its entry price of €29,990 for the Active version and the Boost version also continues to cost €32,990. The BYD Dolphin Comfort does drop in price. This used to cost €36,490 and is now €35,490 on the price list. Top version Design, just like the Comfort, drops €1,000 in price and is now €36,990 in the order books.
As an Active, the BYD Dolphin has a 95 hp electric motor and a 44.9 kWh battery, good for a range of up to 340 kilometers. The Boost version has the same battery pack, but benefits from a 177 hp electric motor. The Comfort and Design versions both have a 204 hp electric heart and a 60.4 kWh battery, good for a range of up to 427 kilometers. The BYD Dolphin Comfort and Design can charge up to 88 kW fast, the Active and Boost up to 60 kW.

BYD Atto 3
The BYD Atto 3 benefits from a more drastic price drop than the Dolphin. Where the BYD Atto 3 as Comfort previously had a starting price of €42,998, that version is now on the price list for €38,990. So more than €4,000 is deducted from the starting price. The BYD Atto 3 in Design trim previously cost €44,998 and will also be more than 4 grand cheaper. Its new starting price: €40,990.
Regardless of the chosen version, the BYD Atto 3 offers a 204 hp and 310 Nm strong electric motor and a 60.4 kWh battery pack, good for a range of up to 420 kilometers.

BYD Han and Tang
The Han and Tang were the first cars BYD brought to the Netherlands. Until recently, the electric sedan Han was on the price list from €71,490, but now costs €69,990. The Tang, an electric SUV with seven seats, also costs €69,990 from now on. The price reduction that BYD is making on the Tang is therefore greater, as the SUV was on the order books for €73,300 until recently. The BYD Han has an 85.4 kWh battery and two together 517 hp powerful electric motors. Its range: up to 521 kilometers. The BYD Tang also has two electric motors with a total of 517 hp, but has a slightly larger battery pack with a capacity of 86.4 kWh. The BYD Tang comes up to 400 kilometers on a full charge of power.
