Can dyslexia still be tested at the age of 17?

If yes, where can I go?

Asker: Bernadette, age 47

Answer

Dyslexia can of course still be studied in adulthood. For this you can contact the study counseling service (BSH) of Ghent University bshgent@hotmail.com or valerie.vanhees@arteveldehs.be (as a student at the university college or Ghent University)

There is also such a service in Lessius. Mail for example to Dieter.Baeyens@lessius.eu

There is also such a service at KULeuven: Pol.Ghesquière@ped.kuleuven.be

Pieter Depessemier is also highly specialized: pieterdepessemier@gent.be

You can also contact marc.brysbaert@ugent.be for such an investigation

You can also go for such an examination in various centers for outpatient rehabilitation and some private speech therapists. If you have nowhere to go, mail me again annemie.desoete@Ugent.be

good luck!
