Hopefully Sinterklaas can sleep on the roof if it rains, otherwise I won’t get any toys next week.
Answer
Dear Stan,
After checking the information available to us about Sinterklaas, the following emerged:
As far as is known, the packages always reached the correct child on the morning of 6 December (Pakjesdag). During the night of Sinterklaas it has already rained in the past, but it also snowed, frozen or was simply dry weather. It is therefore almost certain that the parcels will also be ready on Pakjesdag in the future.
According to the same source of information, receiving packages depends on whether or not the children are naughty. The question remains, however, when one speaks of a naughty child and to what extent one has to be naughty not to receive a package. Do only very naughty children not receive a package or also the less naughty children? In any case, I am not aware of a single child who did not receive a package on Pakjesdag.
Have fun on Pakjesdag,
