Can train sleepers be used to border a vegetable garden?

It is not recommended to use the train butts impregnated with toxic substances for the vegetable garden.

The toxic substances leach out over the years and can be absorbed by the plants and end up in the environment uncontrolled.

However small the amount may be and it may be argued that the concentrations are not harmful, we should try to avoid contact with all kinds of chemicals.

Through food, air, cosmetics, we are exposed to a cocktail of chemicals that may not be harmful in themselves or whose concentration is negligible, but whose consequences of the large mix are unknown.

Prevention is better than cure, so consciously avoid chemicals as much as possible!
