CES continues despite cancellations

CES continues despite cancellations

The Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, early January, is still taking place despite the increasing number of cancellations. That explains CES CEO Gary Shapiro.

This week there have been serious concerns about CES, which normally also includes many car brands. The emergence of the omikron variant of the coronavirus has led to a stream of cancellations. General Motors and Google, among others, have already announced that they will miss the stock market for this reason.

According to CEO Gary Shapiro, that should not spoil the fun: “CES must and will continue”, he explains according to the Las Vegas Review Journal. “CES will start off in a messy way, but it will be full of innovation, companies and entrepreneurs.”

CES 2022 will take place in Las Vegas from January 5. News is expected from Chrysler and the Vietnamese Vinfast, among others. Chrysler takes the Airflow Concept and Vinfast presents three new models. Undoubtedly, there will be more interesting car news coming out of the top hat.
