Charging card selection aid for your situation

Charging card selection aid for your situation

There are many charging cards, each with their own conditions and costs. For example, there are charging cards that have a monthly subscription or where you may or may not pay a starting fee for a charging session. Or they have more or fewer charging points abroad where you can go. We list a number of them. In principle, the prices are all inclusive of VAT.

There are many different charging cards and they all have their own conditions. Here we provide an overview of the charging cards and you can compare them at:

  • monthly costs
  • Starting rates for charging sessions
  • The kWh price at a public charging station in the Netherlands
  • The kWh price for fast charging
  • Once this has been given: an indication of the number of charging points abroad where you can use the card
  • The type of card: is it a card or a key ring/drops
  • The costs to apply for the pass (if stated)

We do our best to keep this information as up to date as possible, but it is of course possible that something has changed since the last update. Update: January 2, 2024.

Tip: There is an app that compares the prices of different charging cards at a charging station: Go Charge. You can enter the passes you have there. At a charging station you will then see the prices for your cards that you have entered, with the other providers below. Handy, you can also see if a charging card is regularly cheaper than one you have yourself. The app is still fairly new and basically works well. You may still encounter a few minor imperfections.
