OpenAI is the creator of the much-discussed smart software ChatGPT and has now announced the arrival of the official ChatGPT app for Android after the launch of the iOS app. Read here what the app can do for you and when it will be available.

Americans can already find ChatGPT’s free iOS app in Apple’s App Store. You can use this conveniently on multiple devices, because it synchronizes the history. If you have an Android device, you can use apps that you can find in Google’s Play Store. It contains a lot of apps, but sometimes you don’t know which one you need exactly and there are also rogue apps. This year, ChatGPT is extremely popular and you can see that in the presence of so-called Chat(GPT) apps in the App Store and in the Android store. And that while the official ChatGPT app from maker OpenAI is not even available here in the Netherlands yet. But good news, OpenAI reports that it is coming.

OpenAI reports on its website that the Android version of ChatGPT is on its way. The app also contains the speech recognition system Whisper, so that you can also ask your question verbally. ChatGPT Plus ($19.99) subscribers may get additional features, such as faster load times and faster access to new features.

As is often the case, the ChatGPT app for iOS will be available in the US first and then rolled out to other countries. OpenAI close their message with:
