Last year it was a party at the pump in terms of prices. Yet it often still pays to find out where fuel is cheapest. Last year you had to be in Friesland, or in a millionaire’s village.
In Sneek the cheapest was last year at the pump with a petrol car, writes The Telegraph. At Joontjes in Sneek you lost an average of € 1,434 last year for a liter of E10 petrol. It is striking that the second place is taken by a petrol pump from the millionaire village of Blaricum. At Fieten Olie you could fill up on average for € 1,435 per liter of E10. It makes a difference if you, as a local resident, have to refuel your Range Rover or Mercedes-Benz G-class.
Premium and diesel
In the Premium petrol E5 category, first place goes to TinQ Hoogeveen in Drenthe (liter price € 1,581). There are even two winners for the diesel pumps: Tamoil Nieuw-Vennep (North Holland) and Esso Express Beek in Montferland, Gelderland; together they are the cheapest with an average liter price of € 1,095.
The ranking was drawn up after a survey by Multitankcard among all petrol stations in our country where at least 500 refueling times were used in the period January to November 2020. In total, this involved more than 4,000 pump operators. Last year, the prize for the cheapest petrol station in the Netherlands went to Kanters in Ruurlo in the Achterhoek region.
