Instead of Fiat 500

Chinese Leapmotor has joined forces with Stellantis for European production of electric cars and it appears that a location has now been found. Leapmotor would house production in Stellantis’ Polish factory.
Stellantis joined forces with Leapmotor last year and this should lead to the production of Leapmotor models in a Stellantis facility. It seemed that Stellantis wanted to move production to its Mirafiori factory in Italy, where it currently builds, among other things, the electric Fiat 500e, but it would now be the Polish factory where the fuel-500 will continue to roll off the production line for a while. . Reuters understands that the Tychy factory will be building the Leapmotor T03 for Europe at approximately the same time as the end of the 500 Hybrid.
It is therefore certainly not excluded that the aforementioned Italian Stellantis factory will also build Leapmotor cars. The Leapmotor C10 must also be sold here in Europe and Mirafiori may then be responsible for its production.

The only question remains whether there will still be production space there in the future. That factory has recently had to deal with production stops due to disappointing demand for the Fiat 500e, but it is said that they will soon build a fuel version of the 500e there as a successor to the Fiat 500 Hybrid, which is now almost 17 years old. Poland.
Curious about what models Leapmotor has in its portfolio? At the end of last year we went through them one by one.
