Citroën revises the C1 delivery range

The Citroën C1 is entering a new model year. Don’t expect shocking changes, however. The smallest Citroën of the moment is tackled purely on equipment level.

No new bumpers, modified headlights or sharpened rear lights for the Citroën C1 of the new model year. The compact Frenchman does, however, benefit from more extensive standard equipment.

Basic version Live is now optionally available with an extensive audio system, a piece of hardware that brings DAB +, Bluetooth, four speakers, USB and aux connections and steering wheel control to the C1. The starting price of the C1, which is always equipped with the VTi 72 hp three-cylinder petrol engine, is € 11,990. As is currently the case, the Feel is higher up the execution ladder. This variant, which costs at least € 14,350, is now equipped with air conditioning as standard. A DAB + radio and – yes – Comet wheel covers are also standard equipment. Top version Shine, which should yield at least € 15,400, already had an infotainment system with 7-inch touchscreen and Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Mirrorlink support, but now also has DAB +.

As before, the Citroën C1 is available as a five-door, although Citroën is one of the few manufacturers to also supply a three-door version of its smallest hatchback. However, the three-door can only be ordered as Live. There is also a variant with an electrically operated canvas roof. This C1 Airscape, called variant, is no longer available as Feel, but is now delivered as Shine.
