1. Remove apps

The easiest way to clean your iPhone is to delete apps. There are always games or applications on your device that you hardly ever use. It therefore pays to scrutinize your app list every now and then. Which apps actually add value? You probably rarely use many applications.

And do you find it difficult to say goodbye to applications? IOS can help you with that. The operating system is able to remove apps that you never open. Your personal data will be saved, so you can simply download a deleted app again.

2. Delete photos and videos from your iPhone

Deleting photos is part of cleaning an iPhone. You probably have a lot of pictures that are dear to you, but at least as many pictures that take up unnecessary storage space. By deleting these photos, you can free up a lot of space in a short time. Keep in mind that photos are really gone after the steps below.

Open the Photos app and tap Select in the top right. Then tick the snaps you want to delete and confirm that you want to delete these photos by tapping the trash can at the bottom right. The pictures have now disappeared from your device. Do you sync via iCloud? Then they will be deleted on all registered Apple devices.

Have you accidentally deleted a wrong photo? Then you can retrieve it from the ‘Recently deleted’ folder for up to 30 days. Select here which photo (s) you just want to keep and tap ‘Restore’. Then confirm that you want to get the photo (s) back.
