Comical puke game Eggggg is Apple’s free App of the Week

Vomiting because you are nauseous, you do not wish on anyone. Hardly anyone, at least, because Gilbert in the comic platform game Eggggg makes good use of it. This is Apple’s newest App of the Week.

Eggggg is completely free this week

The protagonist Gilbert could be described as a kind of failed version of Mario. Instead of mushrooms, he eats eggs to gain super powers, although in this case this ‘power’ is to surrender enormous amounts.

Gilbert uses this to bounce and spit himself through 21 cleverly designed platforming levels in the entertaining iPhone game Eggggg. You use vomit to climb walls, defeat enemies and float through the air.

What makes Eggggg so much fun is the beautiful graphic style. The colors splash off your screen and perfectly match the puzzles and obstacles you have to overcome. A cheerful soundtrack completes the party.

Also free on the Apple TV

The nice thing about this free App of the Week is that you can play the game directly on the iPhone, iPad and Apple TV. Due to the colorful graphic style, the game comes into its own on a large screen.

Every week, Apple puts a different app in the limelight as the free App of the Week. Sometimes this is an educational app, sometimes a comical game like Eggggg. Every Thursday evening a new app is chosen, and you can no longer download the previous one for free. So you have until next Thursday evening to pick this game from the App Store for free.
