Daihatsu is proud to announce that it has received a huge amount of orders for the new Move Canbus that is barely distinguishable from its predecessor. The brand immediately apologizes for the delivery times, which seem to be increasing a bit.
The avid visitor to this website may be familiar with the Move Canbus. At the beginning of July, we wrote a fairly extensive article about the retro-designed kei-car that resembles its predecessor like two drops of water. Daihatsu initially indicated that it hoped to sell about 6,500 units of the Move Canbus per month. However, it turns out that a storm is brewing.
Daihatsu has already received four times the number of orders. No fewer than 26,000 Japanese have ordered a Daihatsu Move Canbus. Daihatsu offers the Move Canbus as Stripes in two-tone and as a Theory flavor that comes in one color. With the Stripes version, Daihatsu says it is targeting “women of all ages, but mainly younger women”. The Daihatsu Move Canbus Theory should especially appeal to men. The two-tone Move Canbus is especially popular in the color combination ‘Lake Blue and Sand Beige’, the Theory attracts attention in the darker color ‘Laser Blue’.
Daihatsu says it apologizes for the inconvenience caused to customers by not being able to deliver cars on time due to supply chain problems. The brand indicates that it is doing everything it can to be able to deliver the Move Canbus as quickly as possible.
