Choice of two plug-ins and four versions
Have you become charmed by the appearance of the Cupra Formentor, but did you find it too pricey? Then we have good news. The Cupra Formentor will be €2,000 cheaper across the board.
Cupra only supplies the Formentor in the Netherlands as a plug-in hybrid. The Cupra Formentor has not been available with the non-electrified 150 hp 1.5 TSI since last year and the 310 hp version with 2.0 TSI petrol engine was already removed from the delivery range in 2021. So you can only go for a plug version, but you do have two options. There is not only a 204 hp plug-in, but also a 245 hp variant. Regardless of the plug-in hybrid version you choose, the Formentor will be €2,000 less expensive.
The Cupra Formentor as a 204 hp 1.4 e-Hybrid is available, as before, as Essential and as Business. After the price reduction, they cost €44,990 and €47,990 respectively. The 245 hp variant provides more spice. It is also called Formentor 1.4 e-Hybrid. This more powerful plug-in hybrid powertrain can be combined with the VZ Performance and VZ CopperEdition versions. The first now costs €52,990, the second €55,990.
