Customize Facebook News Feed

Messages from friends and companies are mixed up in Facebook’s News Feed. Do you feel that you are missing messages from friends and acquaintances? Or would you rather see fewer messages from organizations? Then adjust the preferences for the news overview.

• Go to facebook.com.
• If necessary, log in with the username and password.
• Click or tap the ‘Account’ button at the top right .
• Click or tap Settings and privacy > News Feed Preferences.
• Is there a specific company or organization that you see too many posts from? Then click or tap unfollow.
• You see an overview of the people and organizations you follow. Click or tap “Follow Switch” next to the company name to stop seeing posts in News Feed.

  

• Click or tap Back (the left arrow) to return to the other menu items.
• Don’t want to miss a message from a certain Facebook friend anymore? Click or tap Manage Favorites.
• Click or tap the ‘Turn Favorites’ button next to a Facebook friend’s name to see their posts at the top of News Feed.

  

• Click on the cross to close the window.
