More to come

Dacia wants to operate a step higher in the market. That is to say: it will also target the compact middle class in the near future. The Bigster, the Duster’s bigger brother, is not alone in this.
We eagerly await the addition of a family at Dacia. After all, it has been two years since the Romanian brand presented the Bigster Concept. That for Dacia concepts quite hefty SUV has still not received a production sequel, but now Dacia assures everyone that it is coming. The brand says it will “boldly enter the C segment.” According to the Romanians, the Jogger that appeared on the market this year is already a step in that direction, although it is in fact a B-segmenter. The Bigster “embodies the step into that segment” above all, according to Dacia.
To date, Dacia has not released much about the production version of the Bigster, but now mentions it specifically and thus indicates that, just like the concept car, it bears the Bigster name. We are aiming for the Bigster to see the light of day next year. It is also interesting what else Dacia has in store besides the Bigster. It speaks for the first time about the arrival of two more new models in the compact middle class. Does this mean Dacia shifts its focus to bigger cars? No, it broadens its range, Dacia just continues to focus on the more compact corner of autoland. The Renault Group’s CMF-B platform, on which the Sandero and Jogger are enthroned, will be good for 2 million cars annually by 2030, according to Dacia. Please note; this also includes the models of the sister brands on that basis.
Conventional drive will remain part of the party for the time being, according to Dacia, but Dacia is working as part of the Renault Group to prepare the fuel engines for alternative fuels. Furthermore, Dacia participates in the EV efforts of the group, although there is no sign of a new all-electric model yet. It is quite possible that one (or even both) of the announced additional models will be electrically powered in addition to the Bigster.
