Best iOS Games December 2019

1. Game of the Month: Black Desert Mobile

Black Desert Mobile is an impressive MMO for smartphones. Possibly even one of the best MMOs ever to appear on a smartphone. You can choose from five professions (such as witch or archer) and then have a great adventure in a huge world.

For smartphones, the controls have been kept as simple as possible. For example, you don’t have to walk to a quest every time, but you tap on the quest after which your character goes there himself. You can also walk by using the virtual joystick. The same principle is reflected in the battles. You can let it run automatically, or you can take a more active role.

The game has a good story that you experience as you play, but the focus is on fighting, getting stronger and finding better equipment. Anyway, the game looks insane. Among other things, because of the customization that you can apply, so that your character can be completely unique.

2. She Sees Red

In this interactive film, you follow a detective looking for a murderer. You make the important choices and thus influence how the film goes. Ultimately, your decisions lead to one of four different endings. The film was shot in Russian, but you can also play an English version via dubbing. However, we recommend playing with the original Russian voices and English subtitles, as the voice over isn’t great. That’s a shame, but the interactive movie is more than worth it.

3. Farming Simulator 20

Although the farmers in the Netherlands take to the streets en masse, in Farming Simulator 20 you can simply take the tractor onto the field to simulate farm life. You can also get on your horse, sell crops in the market and expand your farm. If you’ve played the previous parts, you know what to expect. This new part has, among other things, a new environment, new machines and new crops.

4. Ubi’s Dimensions

Ubi’s Dimensions is a very touching puzzle game in which you have to get to the exit as Ubi in each level. That exit is sometimes in sight, but sometimes just at the bottom of the level. How do you get there? The start of the game is free, but for the rest you have to pay. So you can try the game before you buy it. Is Monument Valley your thing? Then you should definitely give Ubi’s Dimensions a chance.

5. Old School Musical

Old School Musical is a fun rhythm game with chiptune music. If you hit enough notes at the right time, the on-screen battle gets better. The swords are used to the rhythm of the music. Note that you only get five songs for free, but at least one free song is added every week. If it tastes like more, you have to pay.
