In collaboration with MotoGP test driver Michele Pirro and Garage 51, Ducati has set up a new learning school for future racing talent; The “V2 Future Champ Ducati Academy – Become the Next One”, a new Racing Academy that opens doors to professional motorsport for young drivers below and above 21 years.
The Academy, which will start in 2026, offers an intensive and educational program in which the participants ride on the Panigale V2, Ducati’s new generation of two -cylinder sports motor. The format includes pre-season tests, qualifications and a double race per round, within the Italian championship (CIV), during the World Ducati Week 2026 and on the World Superbike circuit. In this way, talents get the chance to develop their skills on some of the most prestigious stages in national and international motorsport.
Michele Pirro will provide technical guidance. The Ducati MotoGP test driver shares his experience, knowledge and methodology with the young drivers and helps them improve their performance, while the program provides technical equality: the difference is fully determined by talent, commitment and learning ability.
“Ducati’s history is closely linked to the racing world, and investing in young drivers means creating the champions of tomorrow. The V2 Future Champ Academy guides new talents from passion to professionalism and offers them all the tools to grow into top drivers.”
According to Pirro, the goal is clear: “Ensuring that Ducati’s next world champions come from this Academy. Everyone drives the same engines under the same circumstances; talent and commitment make the difference. It is a unique opportunity for growth and to earn a place in the higher categories.”
With the V2 Future Champ Ducati Academy, Ducati is taking a new step in forming the champions of tomorrow, and offers young drivers a unique opportunity to compete at the highest level.
