That a new Streetfighter is on the way, Ducati has already announced in its press release that it will bring the news for 2022 online in six episodes in the coming months, starting on September 30 with episode 1 – Your everyday wonder and ending on December 9 with the new DesertX.

Episode 4 of the Ducati World Premiere, scheduled for November 11, is titled ‘A new Fighter in down’ and while rumored to mean a new Streetfighter V2, that episode will also see the curtain on a new Streetfighter V4 SP as the new flagship of the Streetfighter family.

According to documents filed with the US EPA, the Streetfighter V4 SP will be powered by the same 1,103 cc V4, producing 208 horsepower at peak power and 123 Nm of torque. Just like the Panigale V4 SP, the Streetfighter V4 SP will make the difference through exclusive and expensive (carbon) parts.

Judging by the Panigale V4 SP, you’re talking about a dry clutch, which by the way is already available as a conversion kit for ‘only’ € 3,280, carbon wheels, a Brembo MCS adjustable brake pump, milled triple clamp, adjustable footpegs and exclusive paint.

In the case of the Panigale V4 SP, for that one letter P, no less than € 9,800 extra has to be put on the table compared to the Panigale V4 S. If we translate that one on one to the Streetfighter, the V4 SP would soon be € 36,790 have to go over the counter, but because the price in the Netherlands is partly determined by BPM, we suspect that the price will be just under 36k.
