Drivers in Thailand are the worst

You might not always think so, but Dutch motorists are among the best drivers in the world. Those are not our words, but those of Compare The Market.
The English price comparator Compare The Market concludes that Japanese motorists are the very best in the world. The Netherlands follows in a very respectable second place. In third to fifth place we find Norway, Estonia and Sweden.
You should take the term ‘dear motorist’ with a huge grain of salt. In the research conducted by Compare The Market, hardly any attention is paid to the actual driving skills of motorists. The research looks at the delay on the road, the quality of the asphalt, the maximum speed limit, the number of road deaths per 100,000 inhabitants and things like the maximum allowed blood alcohol level and even “the sentiments on social media.”
According to Compare The Market, the Netherlands has the best roads in the world after Singapore and the number of road deaths per 100,000 in the Netherlands is just as low as in countries such as Japan, Denmark and Germany.
Thailand is the least favored in the Compare The Market study. According to Compare The Market, drivers in Thailand are the worst in the world. The number of road deaths per 100,000 inhabitants would be no less than 32. Peru is second in the list of countries with the worst drivers in the world. The top 5 also consists of Lebanon, India and Malaysia. The South American countries Argentina and Brazil are among the ten worst-scoring countries.
