Dyson WashG1 electric mop is coming

When you say Dyson, you are talking about innovative, striking, excellent quality and also expensive appliances in the household and air purification field. In addition to the well-known vacuum cleaners such as the V11 Absolute (recommended), air purifiers such as the Dyson Pure Cool Me, the striking Dyson Zone air purifying headphones and even an Airstrait hair straightener, Dyson now comes with an electric mop: the WashG1. Dyson previously released a device with a mop attachment, the Submarine, but I was not so enthusiastic about that. This was a good test case for Dyson and they learned a lot from the Submarine and the feedback on it.

Dyson WashG1 improves
The WashG1 has two microfiber brushes that rotate against and towards each other. At the same time, a pulse modulation pump evenly distributes the clean water to 26 hydration points across the full width of each brush. Such a brush consists of an absorbent microfiber with a total of 64,800 fibers per square cm. This combination of microfibers and the addition of clean water should ensure that spilled liquids are absorbed, while dry dirt, waste, dried-on stains and hair are enveloped by millions of fibers. The brushes cover the full width of the floor nozzle, allowing cleaning from edge to edge, right into the corners. The Dyson WashG1 has two motors located in each microfiber brush that spin in opposite directions, so they clean in both directions.
By placing two brushes at the front and back of the machine, you can also remain on the stain for a longer period of time so that it is thoroughly mopped and therefore removed.

And if that doesn’t work (easily), the device has a boost mode button on the WashG1. This supplies extra water to the brushes for optimal results. By the way, there are 3 different modes for mopping a hard floor: you can select these based on the type of dirt, the floor or personal preference. The low, medium and high modes each operate continuously once selected, to provide a higher level of hydration respectively. Each mode also features three additional sensitivity settings, so owners can tailor it to their individual cleaning needs
You can clean a total of 290 m2 of hard floor.
So you need a lot of clean water and that is why the WashG1 has a 1 liter tank, while the Submarine only had 300 milliliters.

Separate and remove dirt
Dyson has also improved dirt separation. First, dirt larger than half a millimeter is separated from the dirty water and collected in the head of the WashG1: dirty water is extracted from the brushes by means of durable extraction plates, while secondary brush bars with nylon bristles remove dirt from the microfiber brushes and remove it directly dispose of in a removable waste bin. The dirty water then goes into a separate 0.8 liter tank: driven by an extraction pump, the dirty water is immediately collected in a dirty water tank with a capacity of 0.8 liters, without large amounts of dirt being able to flow through the machine.
Keeping the dirt in the head of the machine and the dirty water in a separate tank allows easy and hygienic drainage: both water tanks are designed with large openings for easy maintenance and cleaning.
And another plus: when you’re done mopping, the self-cleaning mode ensures that the brushes are cleaned. After use, the self-cleaning mode rinses both brushes with clean water at the highest boost setting, flushing the entire system in preparation for the next cleaning.
