The American start-up Alpha Motor Corporation has yet another variation on the electric Ace theme. This is the Alpha Wolf Plus, a variant of the Wolf with extra rear doors.
The intended model range of Alpha Motor Corporation will in a few years’ time consist of the Ace Coupé, the Ace Jax, the Wolf and this new variant: the Wolf Plus. Just like the ‘regular’ Wolf, the Wolf Plus is a pick-up. However, its name already indicates that the Ace Plus offers more.
The Alpha Wolf has two doors and extends a distance of 4.67 meters. This Ace Plus has a longer cabin that offers space for two small, rear-opening doors that provide access to a small rear seat. With its length of 5.15 meters, the Ace Plus is therefore a lot longer than the pick-up on which it is based. With a depth of 1.65 meters, the cargo bed of the Ace Plus is the same as that of its shorter brother. The Wolf Plus comes on the market with four- and rear-wheel drive, according to Alpha Motor. The range should be about 400 to 440 kilometers. A sprint from a standstill to a speed of 97 km / h (60 mph) is completed in 5.9 seconds.
Although Alpha is presenting one variation on the Ace theme after another, the robustly designed retrofields will not be the company’s first cars to hit the market. The Ace family is planned for after 2023, the brand will first build a modular commercial vehicle that will not only include a van and a pick-up, but also an SUV-like.
