sharp price

SsangYong is no more; From now on we will talk about KGM. This is now arriving in the Netherlands with the KGM Torres EVX. An electric SUV with 462 km of range for just over €40,000.
You can almost forget SsangYong: on its foundations now stands KGM, which is launching a completely new model in the Netherlands, developed under SsangYong. We are talking about the KGM Torres EVX. Elsewhere in Europe, KGM already supplies the Torres with fuel engines and a different nose, but here in the Netherlands it remains with the electric version with the addition of EVX.
The KGM Torres EVX is about 4.72 meters long and is comparable in that respect to the Tesla Model Y, although in terms of size it is closer to, for example, the Renault Scenic. In terms of price, however, it remains ahead of them both: the KGM Torres will be available from €41,250. That is a bit more expensive than initially seemed possible based on the Korean price, but it is still a competitive price.

The KGM Torres EVX has a 207 hp electric motor on the front wheels and a 73.4 kWh LFP battery from BYD, which on 20-inch wheels gives it a driving range of 462 km according to the WLTP cycle, but on smaller wheels this will take place in due course. time is logically even more favorable. Not only in terms of price, but also in terms of driving range, it leaves behind comparably priced versions of the already relatively affordable Tesla Model Y and Renault Scenic. The KGM Torres EVX can be charged from 10 to 80 percent full in 37 minutes at the fast charger and can fast charge with a maximum of 120 kW. Do you want to hang a caravan behind it? That is also possible, it can tow up to 1,500 kilos when braked. Also not entirely unimportant for a brand that is still somewhat unknown in terms of name; KGM offers a seven-year, 150,000 km full vehicle warranty on the Torres EVX. The battery has a ten-year and 1 million km warranty.
The KGM Torres EVX is available in three flavors: the basic version is called Bronze and therefore costs €41,250. It already has the 12.3-inch infotainment screen, dual-zone automatic climate control and rear parking sensors. For €45,550 you can get the Platinum, with parking sensors front and rear, artificial leather upholstery, electrically adjustable, heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats and roof rails. The most expensive is the €49,550 Titanium version that adds a heat pump, electric sliding roof and 360-degree camera to the equipment. You can order and configure immediately.
