The prices of the electric Mercedes-Benz EQB are known. The crossover has a starting price of just over €64,000 and is currently only available in two power versions.
The range of all-electric models from Mercedes-Benz is increasing at a rapid pace. We now know the EQA, the EQC, the EQE, the EQS and the EQV. Mercedes-Benz fills the gap between the EQA and EQC with an electric variant of the GLB, which is logically called EQB. The electric crossover was presented in China at the beginning of this year, the European version followed in September and now the Dutch importer has released the prices of the standard five-seater and the optional seven-seat electric crossover.
The electric Mercedes-EQB will initially only come to the Netherlands as EQB 300 4Matic and EQB 350 4Matic. The EQB 300 4Matic is a 228 hp and 390 Nm strong four-wheel drive that helps the EV reach a speed of 100 km/h in 8 seconds. The EQB 350 4Matic is the stronger and therefore faster version of the two with 292 hp and 520 Nm. The more powerful version makes the EQB zoom to a speed of 100 km/h in 6.2 seconds. The top speed of both engine versions is 160 km/h. More interesting is the range of the electric EQB. Both the EQB 300 4Matic and EQB 350 4Matic have a 66.5 kWh battery, which will last 395 to 419 kilometers depending on the chosen version. The range of the EQB 350 4Matic is also between 395 and 419 kilometers. The third row of seats with two folding seats has an additional cost of €1,003. The EQB 300 4Matic Edition 1 costs €70,928, for the EQB 350 4Matic Edition 1 you pay €73,832.
The EQB 300 4Matic costs €64,031 as a Luxury Line. For the AMG Line version you will lose €67,903 in combination with that engine version. The EQB 350 4Matic Luxury Line and AMG Line cost respectively €66,935 and €70,807. Mercedes-Benz also supplies the EQBs temporarily as a specially outfitted Edition 1. Mercedes-Benz also supplies the little brother of the EQB in the Netherlands as an EQA 250 with a 190 hp powertrain. Don’t be surprised if the EQB will eventually also be available as a 190 hp EQB 250, which entails a friendlier price tag.
