Electric Nio ET5 slightly less expensive

The Nio ET5 is one of three electric models that the Chinese Nio carries in the Netherlands. The electric sedan is for sale in the Netherlands including a battery, but you can also purchase the ET5 through a construction where you pay a monthly amount for the battery pack. The Nio ET5 will immediately be €1,200 less expensive in the Netherlands.

As before, the Nio ET5 is available in two flavors. The 4.79-meter-long sedan always has two electric motors with a total of 490 hp and is available with a 75 kWh battery and a model with a capacity of 100 kWh. With the smallest package, the Nio ET5 can travel up to 456 kilometers. The Nio ET5 squeezes up to 590 electric kilometers from the 100 kWh battery. The Nio ET5 with 75 kWh battery was previously – including battery – for €63,900 in the order books, but now costs €62,700. Do you prefer to rent the battery of the entry-level ET5? Then you will have lost €50,700 from now on, but then you will pay €169 monthly for the battery pack.

The Nio ET5 with 100 kWh now costs €71,700 including the battery pack. If you go for the battery rental construction, you pay €50,700, just like for the version with a smaller battery. However, the monthly amount to be paid for the battery is €289.

Equipment

From now on, the digital assistant Nomi Halo is standard and you have to pay €600 extra for the more extensive Nomi Mate, the virtual assistant complete with a face that is centrally located on the dashboard. An electrically deployable towbar (€1,200) is no longer standard from now on. The standard equipment has therefore become somewhat more modest, with the result that prices have come down.

Fun fact: in China, Nio comes with a station wagon version of the ET5. This new body variant is also interesting for the European market. Nio also supplies the ET7 and EL7 in the Netherlands.
