Electric Opel Corsa-e and Mokka-e temporarily significantly cheaper

Opel puts the electric Corsa-e and the electric Mokka-e in the spotlight. The Corsa-e and Mokka-e now have an 11 kW 3-phase on-board charger as standard, are cheaper and as long as the purchase subsidy on electric cars is available, you will receive an extra discount on top of that.

An 11 kW 3-phase on-board charger was previously optional for both the electric Opel Corsa-e and Mokka-e, but from now on this previously €1,000 option is standard equipment. Very nice, because where possible you can charge much faster with it than with the 7.4 kW 1-phase charger. Opel immediately makes a price change on its electric pair, as a result of which the starting price of the Opel Corsa-e has fallen by about €600 to €31,099. The Mokka-e is also cheaper. The electric crossover is now in the order books from €35,149.

Good news, but Opel goes further. For example, Opel is doubling the €3,350 purchase subsidy (SEPP) that applies to a new electric car with a list price of between €12,000 and €45,000. This means that with the purchase of an electric Opel Corsa-e or Mokka-e you will receive financial support of €6,700. On paper, the Corsa-e (Edition) now temporarily has a starting price of €24,399. For comparison: the cheapest Corsa with petrol engine and automatic transmission, with 100 hp 1.2 so, costs €25,899 as an Edition. The cheapest Corsa remains the unnamed basic version in combination with a 75 hp 1.2 and a manual five-speed gearbox. It is on the price list from €19,499.

Here you can read everything you need to know about the purchase subsidy (SEPP) for new and used electric cars.
