On land, at sea…

The Porsche Macan as you know it now will have a fully electric equivalent next to it. That fully electric Porsche Macan has now appeared in sketch form.
Porsche enters into a partnership with Austria-based Frauscher Shipyard. Together, the two companies want to make an electric speedboat. What’s special about that? The electric barge will use technology from the upcoming electric Porsche Macan. Porsche releases a sketch of the boat to be developed and that image also shows the electric Macan from the side.
The electric boat goes Frauscher x Porsche 850 Fantom Air and is based on the already existing 8.67 meter long Frauscher 858 Fantom Air. According to Porsche, the electric variant to be developed will have the ‘approximately 100 kWh’ large battery pack of the electric Macan in its bottom and will also have at least one of the electric motors of that Macan on board. Thanks to 800v technology, the boat should be able to charge quite quickly.
We already know that the electric Posche Macan will be on the PPE platform, will develop up to 612 hp and 1,000 Nm and can charge faster than the Porsche Taycan.
