Electric Skoda Enyaq iV seen from the inside

Skoda has released a set of design sketches of the interior of the Enyaq iV, the brand’s first electrically developed car from the start.

September 1 is the day when Skoda introduces the Enyaq iV to the world, an all-electric crossover from which the brand is now releasing two new images. On the new plates, Skoda gives away how the interior of its new EV will be designed.

It will not surprise anyone that the interior of the Enyaq iV is very similar to that of the Vision iV, the study model presented in Geneva last year with which Skoda already gave a fairly accurate picture of what one could expect from a final production version. We see a fairly minimalistic-looking dashboard with a wide display in the center of the center console that belongs to the infotainment system. There is also a screen behind the steering wheel, a smaller one that naturally functions as an instrumentation. The Enyaq iV also gets a two-spoke steering wheel, although the model in the production model looks slightly more usual than the hoop in the Vision iV.

Dimensions

The Enyaq iV is, just like a whole series of upcoming EVs from the Volkswagen Group, on the modular MEB platform specially designed for electric cars. The SUV-like is 4.65 meters long and 1.62 meters high. This is -ie a lot longer than the aforementioned ID.3 from Volkswagen (4.26 meters). In length, the Enyaq iV surpasses the Nissan Qashqai by as much as 28 centimeters. The wheelbase with 2.77 meters corresponds to that of his hatchback brother from Wolfsburg. In the back, the Enyaq iV can carry 585 liters of stuff, making the electric Czech only slightly less than the Octavia Combi (610 liters).

Specifications

The electric Czech will be available in various configurations. The basic version receives a 52 kWh battery pack and a 148 hp electric motor. That variant, which has to go 340 WLTP kilometers on a charge, will receive another variant with a 58 kWh battery pack and one with a 77 kWh battery pack. They have a 179 hp electric motor and a 204 hp electric heart respectively. The 77 kWh variant will be available in two four-wheel drive flavors. There will be an 80X with a total power of 265 hp and an RS topper that is 306 hp. The range of these two versions is 460 km.

At the end of this year, the first copies of the Enyaq iV will come from Skoda’s factory in the home city of Mladá Boleslav. Early next year the EV will be at the Dutch dealers.
