Aehra Sedan and SUV coming in 2026
Are you anxiously awaiting a luxurious Italian electric sedan as an answer to cars like the Mercedes-Benz EQE? Then you don’t just have to wait for Alfa Romeo or Lancia to come up with such a model. The ambitious Italian start-up Aehra will not only bring a voluptuous electric SUV in 2026, but also what the Italians themselves call an ‘ultra-premium electric sedan’. Zozo.
The new electric sedan from Aehra is simply called Sedan for the time being, just as the company’s SUV is still called Aehra SUV. Design-wise, the Aehra Sedan is clearly a sister model of that SUV. It has a very smooth appearance and a strikingly curved shape that is somewhat reminiscent of cars such as the EQE from Mercedes-Benz. Aehra does not yet report extensive technical specifications, but what it does say about the car certainly sounds ambitious.

For example, the Aehra Sedan – just like the SUV – must have an electric range of about 800 kilometers. The batteries that Aehra uses in the car come from Miba Battery Systems, with whom it entered into a partnership in May. Miba would supply battery packs of 100 and 120 kWh. The range of 800 kilometers is for the Aehra Sedan with the largest package. The 100 kWh model undoubtedly also provides the car with an excellent usable range.
The fact that Aehra likes bombastic sales pitch is evident from the way in which the company promotes its products. This is how the Sedan reflects according to Aehra “[…] the pursuit of perfect proportions that Italian architects, artists and designers have been engaged in for centuries”. It does not seem entirely based on air, as the Sedan is remarkably free of extravagant external frills such as busy women and wild lines. “The Sedan is the antithesis of the current baroque design culture”, Aehra continues. The Sedan is “free of unnecessary decorations, but is full of emotion. It sets a new standard of natural beauty in the segment of emission-free ultra-premium mobility.” Case of ‘we from toilet duck’, but we understand what the Italians are talking about. We don’t have an image of the inside yet, but that is probably quite similar to that of the Aehra SUV.

If the Sedan’s drive technology matches that of the Aehra SUV, then you have to count on powers of 700 hp to 815 hp. We also have to guess at the dimensions. The Aehra SUV is 5.1 meters long and has a wheelbase of 3 meters. The Aehra Sedan and SUV should be delivered to the first customers in 2026. The cars should not be marketed in Europe, but also in North America, China and the Gulf States.
