Electric Volvo EX30 keeps an eye on things

Soon Volvo will expand its model range with the EX30, a new compact crossover about which Volvo is now releasing a tiny piece of new information. The electric Volvo EX30 will make its debut on June 7, so pretty soon!

Volvo hopes to translate the success of the electric XC40s to a smaller segment by launching a new more compact electric crossover. AutoWeek was recently able to show you that Volvo EX30 from all angles on patent drawings. Little by little, Volvo also releases more about its new electric crossover. This time Volvo links the EX30 to its hobbyhorse: safety.

For example, Volvo reports that it equips the EX30 with a system that emits a warning signal and visual signals when the driver opens the door if, for example, a cyclist or car passes. Volvo also equips the EX30 with an airbag on the inside of the driver’s seat and equips the crossover with a warning system that alerts the driver if he or she is not alert. A camera behind the steering wheel verifies eye and facial movements.

The Volvo EX30 will make its debut on June 7. On that day, the small crossover can also be ordered in the Netherlands.
