Zeekr X Netherlands

The Netherlands is one of the first countries where the new brand of Volvo’s parent company Geely will soon land. At the end of this year Zeekr will spread its wings to our country and the compact Zeekr X is one of the brand’s first electric cars to go on sale here. Thanks to AutoWeek reader Ludo Peeters, we can now show you the Zeekr X up close. Just in our own Netherlands. Thank you ludo!

Together with Sweden, the Netherlands is one of the first two European countries where Geely’s young brand Zeekr will be active. Zeekr is coming our way in the last quarter of this year. The electric shooting brake Zeekr 001, together with the smaller but just as electric X, will open the attack on the Dutch EV market. The Zeekr X will therefore only be available at the end of this year, but thanks to AutoWeek reader Ludo Peeters, the car can already be seen in the Netherlands. The electric crossover was parked casually at the Van der Valk hotel along the A4 near Delft.

The logos and badges are still taped and the Test Vehiclestickers at the bottom of the doors and on the buttocks of this green Zeekr X reveal that this is still a pre-production copy, but the appearance of the electric crossover will no longer be tinkered with. The Zeekr X is a 4.45 meter long electric crossover with a wheelbase of 2.75 meters. Like Geely peers like the #1 and #3 of Smart and the yet to be officially released Volvo EX30, the car is on Geely’s SEA platform. The Smart #1 is available with a 66 kWh battery and with a single 272 hp electric motor, or with two 428 hp units together. We also expect comparable hardware in the Volvo EX30 and therefore also in this Zeekr X. Count on a range of about 450 kilometers.
